About this course

Automation is a growth industry for the future and one we are passionate about and have significant experience in.  This qualification provides competencies to assemble, set up and program, fault find, repair and maintain automated equipment, apparatus, associated circuits and systems. It includes the supervision of plant maintenance programs and providing technical advice to process staff. 

Skills Lab will provide you with the opportunity to learn from real life examples and insights, as we are a wholly owned subsidiary of SAGE Group of Companies and are sister company to SAGE Automation.  As such, you will have access to current practices and learnings on world-leading training platforms.

Prerequisites: UEE30811 / UEE30820 Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician, or a full Australian electrical licence.

Course duration

Flexible, pending your availability and how quickly you can move through the learning modules. We envisage the average training will take 6 - 12 months, however learners have up to 2 years to complete the course.

Delivery options

Training and assessment will be by flexible delivery combing self-paced blended learning, one-on-one learning, lab/site-based performance activities and a workplace log book. 

You can also undertake this course through our cyber physical training capability. This means you can be located anywhere with a good internet connection and ideally two screens to work from to book into this training.

This course is offered in QLD, NSW, VIC, TAS, SA, NT and WA.

$14,950 in total. Fees will be structured into 3 separate payments spread across the course duration.
